It has been newly remodeled and is just right for single travelers or couples seeking a special cozy retreat. Tall vaulted ceilings and windows all around make this space light and airy. It has a delightful full kitchen with a touch of class featuring butcher block counters, subway tile, farmhouse sink, and all brand new appliances, making it as much fun to “dine-in” as dine out. It is totally private and ideal! This home features: ● Loft style layout where all the spaces beautifully flow together ● King sized bed ● Large bathroom with vaulted ceilings and beautiful walk-in shower ● Flat screen Smart TV ● Desk / workspace for working while on the road ● Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking at home ● Coffee bar with whole bean coffee, grinder, sugar, non-dairy creamer, tea ● Ductless AC/heating system ● Free high speed wireless internet ● Washer and dryer in laundry room ● Private two-person hot tub on the front deck ● Outdoor dining table and chairs on the deck for relaxing ● Outdoor propane BBQ (seasonal, Memorial Day - Labor Day) ● Two cruiser bikes (seasonal, Memorial Day - Labor Day) The Nest is a beautiful little hideaway, just one block from Columbia Park and the Deschutes River. Though it does share a homesite with another one of our vacation homes, all of the amenities of The Nest are unshared including the desk, hot tub, and off street parking space. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the best parts of Bend. This cottage is a standalone house but it is adjacent to The Cumberland House and can be rented alone or in conjunction with the big house. Great for larger families traveling together that want to be close yet have some privacy as well. Ask us about our discounts for booking both places for that memorable family vacation, or come just the two of you and snuggle into The Nest. The house, deck, hot tub, and parking area are unshared. We have complete contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests. All towels, linens and bedding are included. We also leave guests a small amount of starter supplies including: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, hand soaps, bath soap, shampoo, and coffee bar items mentioned above. We also provide blow dryers, iron and ironing board. Please plan accordingly to bring anything else you may wish to have with you on your trip. Note: Guests who book this home will be required to sign an auxiliary rental packet with specific rules and information included, such as neighborhood quiet hours, check in and out time restrictions, and non-smoking policies. Super convenient to not have to drive and park. There were bicycles but we didn't get around to trying them.Cute dwelling but could be cleaner (stain on bedding, dirt under the bed, mold in washer dryer).Not a deal breaker if you're just spending the nights.Based on other reviews, this could just be us but the bed was very uncomfortable, it was hard, sagging and hurt our backs.Kitchen was very convenient but no pantry supplies so plan to buy your own oil, condiments, dressings etc. Some spices were provided. I am used to seeing more pantry supplies in coast rentals but maybe it was left over by other guests in that case. We did use the kitchen more than most and it served us well.Some tips if you plan to stay here: - Bring your own pillows unless you like super high pillows- The parking for Unit 2 is a long, very narrow unpaved path that is tricky to maneuver even with a sedan (three points turn needed)Overall a decent place for two if you plan to explore Bend for few days and can sleep easily anywhere. ##### vidya g. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, and was located in a great location. Would have been nice to have a closet for hanging clothes. The place feels bigger in person than it looks in photos, plenty of space for two people very comfortably. It was sparkling clean, is stocked with all the towels, appliances and dishes you'd need, and communication with Erin was awesome. We had a small issue with the internet on day 1 (not Erin's fault, internet in Bend is tough to begin with) and she fixed it super quickly AND sent us a small refund to cover our lunch/coffee while we had to leave the property to work at a coffee shop for the day. Such a kind gesture! The location is killer, you can walk to all the best spots from here, and the small hot tub was amazing - we used it every day! My only piece of feedback is that this place reallyyyyy needs a new mattress. If you were staying for 2-3 nights it wouldn't be a big deal, but 10 nights was definitely rough. ##### Kati R.
