We especially appreciated the accessibility for my elderly parents—just a few steps up from the street to the one-level comfort of the master suite, the spacious living room, kitchen, and lovely porch. The house is just steps away from the pool, but those of us without mobility issues mostly enjoyed accessing the 3-mile river loop on the beautiful Deschutes each day—such beauty so close by! From the neighborhood, it is an easy drive to town for restaurants, shopping, tubing, and concerts. Close to Mt Bachelor ski area and the Deschute River trail. Plenty of space for our family of four. It had everything we needed to cook our own meals and when we wanted to eat out it was a short drive into downtown Bend. Really appreciated the drying rack for our gloves and boots.
