"Beautiful resort! Amazing food, the all inclusive offer is fantastic, with cocktails, wines and spirits on offer, including wines from the wine cellar! Food was outstanding, everyday something different! The staff are magnificent! They couldn’t do enough for us! Really pleased with this resort! "

"Absolutely wonderful hotel. Our luggage was delayed for the duration of the stay here but the concierge made all efforts to try and track it down. Facilities are great especially for kids. Definitely be back at some point. "

"This hotel have all the best facilities / accommodation and gastronomy. Staff from the welcoming group to the waiters, beach waiters all are too happy to help. My wife had a knee surgery recently and the hotel did everything to make her feel comfortable and at ease. Food was excellent no matter which restaurant you walk into. Too many stuff to mention. In all this is a hotel we will always come back to 👍"

"The location is great and the entire property setting is beautiful. The rooms are nice and we had a lagoon room which feels even more private. The Japanese restaurant is very nice, overall the food is good. It’s still one of the great resorts in the Indian Ocean. "

"Such a nice place with wonderful environment and good service. The food is a big variety and all dishes are so delicious. Very clean. The shop on property is also a good place to look around, most commodities are priced reasonably. The hotel is a little far from airport but they can arrange a taxi with fair charge. Don't miss the stunning sunrise on beach!"

"Good hotel and spa facilities. Food was excellent in the restaurants. We were half board and think All Inclusive would not be worth the extra money. Difficult to book excursions though the hotel. You needed to book with travel reps that turned up between 10/12 each day (not Sundays). No help from hotel guest services or concierge. Book a table was difficult, you needed to book at least two 2 days in advance. Limited covers per night at all restaurants other than the buffett. Nice that the...

"The Ambre delivered on many fronts and its reputation lies very squarely on its staff. We had excellent service throughout our stay , lots of choice for meals, lots of sun beds (although there was the rush to secure them pretty early and then disappear off to other areas leaving a lack of the more popular ones) The biggest bug bear for us was the smokers around the pool.
