"Be aware especially if you book on Expedia, this hotel does not offer AC in the rooms. Windows open and there is an oscillating fan in the room. It was cool for our night stay so we were comfortable. My issue is Expedia did not note there was no AC."

What is a historic hotel like in Belfast?
A historic hotel gives guests the chance to stay in a place recognized with an official historic designation. These types of hotels in Belfast typically preserve authentic characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture within the guestrooms or public spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to place more significance on the physical building and architecture. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it inspired the surrounding community.
Do historic hotels in Belfast have modern facilities?
Yes, efforts are made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, while interiors have safety features and modern conveniences.
