Leonardo Hotel Belfast

Leonardo Hotel Belfast

10/10 Excellent
"Roadtripping around beautiful Ireland we spent a couple nights at the Leonardo and really enjoyed the property. It's always nice to have a bar and restaurant on site. We met up w local friends and had a lovely dinner there. Room was nice and clean. Remote parking wasn't too far. Good location. Just a few minute taxi ride to the dock for Aran Island tours and the Leonardo was the pick up point for our Black Taxi tour."

What is a historic hotel like in Belfast?
A historic hotel gives guests the chance to stay in a place recognized with an official historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can be stately homes, palaces or even lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers. These types of hotels in Belfast typically preserve authentic characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture within the guestrooms or public spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to place more significance on the physical building and architecture. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it inspired the surrounding community.
Do historic hotels in Belfast have modern facilities?
Yes, efforts are made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, while interiors have safety features and modern conveniences. Tourists who book a stay should expect the popular amenities from a contemporary hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, WiFi, and more. Booking a historic hotel in Belfast doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's rundown.
