One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the advertised spa. However, I can only rate my overall experience a 3 out of 10 due to two major issues. First, when I checked in at 4 PM, the front desk informed me that no double rooms were available, even though the official check-in time is 2 PM. This delay is unacceptable. Second, the swimming pool had three or four children receiving swimming lessons from a coach. It was clear they were not hotel guests and had no affiliation with the hotel. The shower drainage wasn’t functioning properly so every night my bathroom was essentially flooding and I was very close to slipping on many occasions. The wire chargers next to the bed weren’t working but luckily I brought universal adaptor with wire charging function, otherwise it could be really inconvenient. The amenities were visibly a bit outdated hence a very subpar Ritz, I won’t recommend it.
