« The property and host were great. The waterfront was pretty green, but the lake itself was nice. Big plus for big groups: never ran out of hot water when doing showers for 6 adults and 7 children! Grill could be upgraded, but otherwise basically everything but groceries was provided. Take advantage of the boat! »

« Large house, wonderful outdoor space, nice dock area. We really enjoyed our stay. I would just give people a heads up to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels if you have a large group. We had 10 people for 5 nights and had to provide some of our own paper goods when we ran out. The lake is very shallow but nice clean water. May be difficult for larger boats to launch on this lake. « The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, towels etc. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts have done every possible to make this a lovely stay including NOT leaving a long list of things to do before you leave. As other reviews state, the walk down to the lake is a bit long and steep, but there are stairs. I got my exercise. We were a bit disappointed that the lake was so green with algae that swimming anywhere near the cabin was out of the question, the...

« We had a very nice week at Mia’s Black Dog Lodge. Everything about the house was top notch. Seeing many eagles around the lake was a huge bonus! One even landed in a tree next to the dock. Fishing from the dock was great for the little ones. Unfortunately the algae prevented us from getting into the water. This is a wonderful location and the lake is beautiful. »

« This is a cozy cabin with a great view of the lake and if you are there during July 4th there is a good chance you can see the fireworks from the porch! Nice touch with coffee and scones for breakfast. We will stay here again! »
