Bear Pause Cabin sits on a private 1.3 acres off a beautiful quiet road but close to all the Beech Mountain attractions. We are less than a mile from the entrance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort, with many restaurants and local events within a 2 mile radius.

A car is required for this location. Four-wheel drive or AWD is highly recommended for winter season. If you don`t have this drivetrain you can have chains put on your tires in Banner Elk prior to coming up the mountain.

There is plenty of parking at the cabin. The upper driveway holds 2 vehicles and the lower driveway can hold 3-4 depending on the size.
1) No smoking inside. If smoking occurs a $250 fee will be charged for remediation purposes.
2) Up to 2 pets. Pets should be crated when left alone. Guests are required to clean up after the pet in the yard.
3) Check-in / check-out times are strict due to back to back bookings in high seasons. Early or Late checkouts may be granted for a small additional fee, if available. Inquire for more information and availability.
4)By using the hot tub, I acknowledge the risks involved, including but not limited to drowning, heat-related illness, chemical burns, and injury. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages and release The homeowner and their associates from all liability. I confirm that the area is safe, and if I feel otherwise, I will leave immediately. I understand the hot tub is not suitable for pregnant women, children, or those with medical conditions without consulting a physician. Use is limited to 15 minutes at a time, and alcohol/drug use is prohibited. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided, including maintaining cleanliness and properly closing the cover after use. I waive all rights to legal claims for injuries or property damage and understand this agreement remains in effect during all future uses of the hot tub. I agree to be liable for any damages caused by negligence or recklessness and to cover any related costs.
