Just finished a 6 night stay at the Lebua. Overall the service was excellent! Everyone was very kind and accommodating! From house keeping, front desk, restaurant staff and bartenders, everyone provided top rated service. Check in and check out was very quick, accommodating to a later check out and stored luggage until we were ready to leave. The breakfast buffet was very refreshing and inclusive, foods accommodating to various cultures. The bars and restaurants were pricey, however well worth it for the view and ambience. Ate at Sirocco and we went to various bars including the Sky bar. Service was great and never felt rushed or pressured. Would highly recommend Sirocco, the view was amazing, could see the entire city. The rooms are a bit dated but very large. Beds are hard according to American standards. The views from this hotel are amazing, 24th floor river view and still able to see a large amount of the city from the balcony. The pool however seemed like an afterthought. The chairs were crammed in one corner and on the other side there is the breakfast buffet/restaurant. Expected the pool to be of the same caliber as the rest of the amenities. There is an in room fridge with refreshments at extra cost, but convenient. Not much is in walking distance but we hailed taxi or tuktuk easily accessible in front of the hotel. Just be sure to negotiate first as prices can vary. Also the drivers will try to make stops at various places for a kickback, just give them a firm no.
