At your disposal will be the great outdoors on this 42-acre working ranch, with the nightlife, shops and attractions of the Cowboy Capital of the World just down the road. When you get away from it all, do you want a noisy urban motel surrounded by strangers, or a unique bed and breakfast in a peaceful creekside setting? This kid-friendly cabin is situated on a spacious 42-acre cattle and horse ranch, and a nearby creek provides cool and relaxing water activities for everyone. A cool creek near the Texan Cabin can be used for tubing, catch-and-release fishing, swimming, wildlife watching, or just some recharging moments. The owners are a very pleasant couple and we are so thankful to have met them. I recommend this place if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is a small cabin on a working ranch. The owners ' house is nearby and they are friendly to talk with. The owner cooks an amazing breakfast for you! There are cats, a horse, a donkey, longhorns, geese, ducks, and lots of deer. The spring fed creek is pretty and next time I hope to do some fishing in it! The place is far from town but not too difficult to reach. It is near Bandera and Kerrville, and an hour from Fredericksburg. The cabin is nice, but small. It has a firm queen bed and two softer twin beds. The kitchen is just a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is small with a shower. The internet and satellite TV worked well. I recommend this for couples or families with little ones. Older kids would be fine if they enjoy the outdoors and fishing. It is a great place to sit on the porch and read or just relax. ##### Tracy M. Our family of 4 stayed at the ranch this past week and it was possibly the greatest highlight of our 8 days touring Texas. The grounds were beautiful, the cabin was very comfortable (we loved all the Texas decor) and we had access to everything we needed. All of it was wonderful but Rancher Brett and Jill really were the best amenity! Brett welcomed us right away and spent time showing our city kids how to feed and tend to all the amazing animals on the ranch. Our kids unplugged from devices and completely plugged into the ranch!
