"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. "Lovely property on Aughris Head. We were able access locations throughout Co Sligo. It was a bit hard to find initially but the EIR code made it easy (ask the host for this and enter it in Google maps). We loved being surrounded by sheep, green pastures, and the sea. "The stay was wonderful and perfect for our family. Our host, Chris, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or problems. However, our dealings with VRBO has been a nightmare when it came to payments and confirmation of our stay. At this point I have been charged with 3 payments instead of 2 totaling 500 euro more than the fee for the property. I have made numerous bookings with VRBO but this one will be my last."

"Riverside is central in Sligo and a great spot if you’re looking to walk around the town or even use it as a home base for exploring around the area. Parking is available at a nearby lot about 1 block away or on the street around the hotel. We ended up having to book a last minute additional room because of flight issues, and they made it so convenient and easy to check in! It was a wonderful start to our Ireland honeymoon. There is a restaurant and a cafe on the main floor that provides a convenient dining experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend. "
