"This was a reunion of 2 life long friends that had drifted apart . It was HOT! I know it's not cool in the summer in Texas, but this was crazy heat! Heat index was 109-112. So this place did work great in our favor since we were mainly inside. Played a many a games of pool. (Neither of us are any good, so this was hilarious) The two AC wall units kept it pleasant all day long. Direct TV was plus. The place is very spacious and well kept. Large rooms. "As you drive up the county roads you’re thinking “omgosh what did we get ourselves into”? And the. You make the turn into the winery and see all the vines and trees and the beautiful winery and then the Bluejay Cabin and all in the world is good again. Seriously we will be back. Cute, quaint and adorable little place. By the way, the wine is pretty good too…oh, then there’s the restaurant at the winery…triple star food!!! And the host made us feel like family. Again, a must stay!"

"From the moment we started talking with Frank and Linda about booking, they were so kind, even wanting to provide a treat for our dog if he was with us. As soon as we walked in the door, the peace and serenity of the place greeted us, along wth homemade goodies (we ate them all over the weekend). The view of the lake was breathtaking. "Super quiet. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. The inside was clean minus a few cobwebs which was expected. Washer and dryer but dryer would not heat up. My only real negative is the outside really needs a good cleaning up. "
