« There are definitely some issues going on with this rental. The bathroom fills with a scent of raw sewage if you keep the door closed like we did to keep our dog out. You couldn’t even breathe in there with the window opened. I failed to read all of the reviews before I booked it and it seems like I’m not the first person who has had this problem. It is dog friendly, which is wonderful however it is about 15 feet from a road that is 55 miles an hour which makes things very loud with the thin...

« Beautiful property with a homey feeling in a quiet, country-like setting, while having the travelers convenience of a Dollar General store and 2 gas stations less than a mile away. Every room is spacious, including the bathroom. We were especially pleased with the thoughtfulness the owners took into account for younger children, which our granddaughter absolutely loved. The larger deck featured a sturdy tile patio table and 6 chairs, which we took advantage of each day for outdoor breakfast and...

« We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home to others! The house was spotless when we arrived, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for our group. The beds were especially comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. The property is peaceful, relaxing, and had everything we needed for a memorable getaway. One of our favorite unexpected discoveries was the very old overgrown cemetery next to the property. We spent some time exploring it...

« Wonderfully scenic property along a creek. The extensive outdoor spaces were great and we enjoyed the comfortable seating by the fire pit. Communication with the host was timely. I would book again. A few notes for future travelers - the upstairs bedrooms are not furnished as shown in the photos - more like dorm bed frames now - not sure if this is temporary? If you want to drink wine/have glassware bring your own (thanks to another review we did). If the wifi is out - let them know ASAP. We...

« Words cannot describe our experience and stay at Pride’s Mountain! The property is stunningly beautiful. CJ and Mitch were the best host and accommodated us beyond my expectations. The guest house is private, clean, and the craftsmanship of the home was admired. The furnishing was cozy and perfect! The whole vibe was amazing. We even got to experience petting the donkeys, playing with the dogs, and feeding the farm animals! CJ and Mitch welcomed us like we were a part of their family! We also...

« Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back! »

« Absolutely incredible from start to finish! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need for a perfect week away. Every detail made us feel right at home, and the peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for. We spent our week at The Eloise celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday and Brent went above and beyond, even surprising her with a card and cheesecake! The fire pit was laid out nicely and we even had the makings of s’mores waiting for us. We...
