The kitchen was well-stocked with non-stick cookware, having everything one might need to cook. We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good. »

« This was such a peaceful, perfect location with an incredible view up on the mountain! It was like an escape from the real world and felt so refreshing. My gaming-obsessed 12 year old son said he would give up games if we could move there 😂 The hosts were great and very responsive and we had no issues with anything. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The first night we were there we made tinfoil dinners on the campfire and then s'mores afterwards. The stars are amazing outside of the city...

« Susan's place was a perfect place for me to gather with my children, their significant others, and grandchildren. The house was as advertised! it was secluded and quiet and the kitchen came fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, you name it. « First time at Wintergreen - condos are show their age in places, but I had a great time and the views were out of this world. Good hiking. Waterfalls. Cut through to Blue Ridge Parkway from the neighborhood allowed for great biking without having to descend/ascend the long road up from the entrance. »

The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

At one point there were 10 people in line. Better pool hours would be nice for the early risers. No towels at the pool. No bedding for the sofa bed. If the room is booked for 6 people, there should be 6 bath towels in the bathroom. »
