"The hotel was unique, pretty, and well kept. I enjoyed my stay. I thought the furnishings, though nice, new, and appropriate for the setting, were a bit odd, and that the space was laid out in a strange way, especially with a bathtub placed outside the bathroom. If my husband had been with me, I wouldn’t have enjoyed climbing out of the platform bed right next to the wall; as it was, since I was by myself it was pleasant and comfortable. I was also surprised by a $250 damage allowance required on my card after I made my reservation. I’m not used to that at a hotel. There was a lot of noise/loud music from the bar downstairs, but it didn’t bother me because it stopped right around 10pm. I didn’t know before going that there was no on-site parking, but free street parking was available close by. The “virtual front desk” attendant replied to my texts. In all, the environment was nice, and the experience was ok—felt like using Air BnB versus a hotel."

"It’s really close to the Amtrak train station and Greyhound Bus station in Pittsburgh. It’s like a five minute cab ride. It’s also close to Market Square. It’s also a short walk from Wood Street station. You can get a day pass and take the light rail to station Square and then walk over to the Monongahela Incline and then go up to Mount Washington. I recommend the Pittsburgh Steak Salad in the hotel’s Revel restaurant. There’s laundry facilities, but quarters are in short supply at the front desk. So you have to ask throughout the day to get quarters for your laundry. The front desk has laundry soap in case you need it for a small fee. They have a nice exercise room too. I recommend this hotel."

"Parking is valet only and very slow. Checking was also very slow. Tried to eat in the onsite restaurant during normal hours and the kitchen was closed. Room was nice and clean but bathroom was small. Paid $$$ "
