An ideal setting for those planning an active Ushuaia trip to keep you fully energized in comfortable rooms with the necessities, cozy and chill common area for a full breakfast, all day snacks, socializing, and an outdoor terrace for extra fresh air and a few puffs. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating who went above and beyond their normal duties. We felt like friends rather than guests. Thank you all."

"The hotel is well-located less than a 10 minute walk to the main strip but in a very quiet area just uphill. If you don't like walking uphill or downhill this may not be the place for you, but I found it very convenient. The room is clean and simple, pillows are comfortable, water is hot. The breakfast is great, it actually includes a small portion of eggs with the usual pastries and tea/coffee. The view from the breakfast room over the town and onto the lake beyond is gorgeous."

"Unclear ďescription that there was only one bathroom for entire property. The guest rooms are cleaned only once every 4 days. The carpet was filthy! Breakfast was lousy: 2 pieces of cheap bread wrapped in plastic , a dry medioluna, and an apple. Undrinkable coffee with powered milk for creamer. Bathroom dirty with broken bidet. Bad smell in common areas. No receipt because establishment ran out of paper for credit card machine. Finally, all guest keys are identical and open all rooms! Stay...

"Die Unterkunft befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Bariloche, und in dieser Gegend sind keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Mit dem Taxi kann man ins Zentrum fahren (ca. 4 km). Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und hat einen ganz tollen Wohnbereich. Auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und bietet die Möglichkeit sich selbst etwas zu Essen zu machen."

"This hotel is old and basic. Some areas are in poor shape, there was water damage, it has poor insulation and it got very hot, there was no AC or even enough fans for individual rooms. Employees cannot do much for their guests because the multiple problems have been reported many times and repairs are not made."

We are very grateful to Luna, a staff member that spoke perfect English, for all of her recommendations on tours, hikes, restaurants and local culture. We enjoyed the breakfast, comfortable beds, and proximity of the hotel to nearby restaurants and shops in San Carlos de Bariloche while being situated in a park-like setting with views of the lake and mountains. Would stay again and highly recommend."
