"No lift in this area of the casino was a big surprise as I have stayed in other parts and even in the same building but last time we had a room on the 5 level and didn’t need lift as it was on level with the entrance. Very dated but quite and a really great price so we got help from staff and family to help with our cases to go to level 4 which is really a basement area but nice outlook to a garden. The toilet made strange gluub gluub notices when we used it but it didn’t block. Shower is over a bath but it had a grab handle and water pressure was great. Room was clean tv worked well nice size for room good value for money but I will ask for a ground floor room next time. Easy to catch bus into Hobart. "

"Peter was a great host and offered us support in terms of local activities. He is also a renowned chef and we took the opportunity for him to prepare us a 3 course dinner which was exceptional. The accommodation fitted our needs perfectly and was only a short walk from a really nice beach. It was only a short drive from Hobart CBD. There is not a lot of shops etc near the accommodation so a car is needed. Breakfast was provided also and it was varied. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting Tasmania. "Comfortable house with amazing views of Hobart and the Derwent river. It fitted the 5 of us well. The house would not suit anyone with mobility issues as it is on a very steep hill. Buses are close by and Ubers easy to come by to get to Hobart central. Note that there is no spa “pool” but rather there are 2 spa baths. A lovely stay in a very beautiful location. "

"Location of the property was really nice. It had great views. Was a shame the hot tub was not in use and looked to have been out of action for a while. The pool was also filled with leaves so unsure if the auto cleaner was running correctly. The property could do with some repairs to refresh it, as well as some areas cleaned better such as the freezer as this was very dirty. Overall was a good stay and easy check in process but just needs some TLC. "

"We had a lovely stay , it was comfortable and easy to find , the host communicated very well , we found the key in the lock box and instructions were easy to follow . It was well located and great cafe at the end of the road . It needs more coat hangers , needs hanging space and hooks for towels , the remote controls need new batteries , I would have liked tissues supplied and perhaps a larger variety of tea . If you are a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs , as you can hear everything movement from the accommodation above . "

"The host responded quickly with polite chat. The pool was dirty and never reached the upper water level. The pool was dirty and we did not want to use it. We booked this place with the amenity of a working pool and the pool was not working. This was upsetting as we expected to use a pool as it was listed as an amenity. This property is a rental property with not any personal touches and place was dirty and dusty. The home only had a cursery quick cleaning, but needed a deeper clean. I would not recommmend this place.I would ask that the pool be removed from the listing.Most importantly, the place was quite dusty, all blinds were dusty, dust on all surfaces, closets dusty needed to be wiped out, sofa was smelly like a dog slept on it, and not enough laundry soap. We had to purchase laundry soap. There were previous reviews that stated the pool was not working and the place was dusty, these previous reviews were absolutely accurate. I mentioned the previous reviews to the listing management at booking time and specifically requested a thorough cleaning and the pool be in working order. This was not the case, and disappointing for our stay, and we felt we overpaid."
