November wedding

We were there for a wedding. The house was amazing and well stocked! It comfortably fit our 9 guests and the hot tub was an awesome addition! Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Perfect vacation home

Perfect vacation home with many amenities and well stocked. Deck area was fabulous and used frequently during stay. Location just off main roads was good for our frequent excursions to Anchorage, Girdwood and Prince William Sound. We had fun!

Outstanding place!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time! This was a Christmas present to our family to stay here and go downhill skiing. We had a blast, played games, used the hot tub, and watched movies. It was perfect for our family!

The Moose Pad

Great spot in Anchorage to launch our Alaska trip. Tony was great to work with and the home was as advertised in the listing and fully stocked with the all the amenities needed. The hot tub and outside entertainment area on the back deck were great. We traveled with two other families with younger kids and the space fit us great with the roll out couches. Super close to the Alaska Zoo and not far from from the downtown area with restaurants and things to do and see. We come to Alaska often to visit family and to explore and we will definitely come back to the Moose Pad!

Better than we hoped!

We were in Alaska for 2 1/2 weeks. The last 3 nights were in this beautiful VRBO and it was exquisite. We were so thrilled to find stocked cupboards and everything we needed to grill out some yummy steaks. It was so nice to not have to buy all of the little things, extra towels for the hot tub, snacks, books, fire wood.... These wonderful hosts thought of everything. We loved the super comfy beds after a dip in the perfect hot tub. This place exceeds all expectations! Thank you for everything!

Alaskan vacation

The pictures and description in the ad were spot on. The house accommodated our family for the month of September. We had different family members come stay with us a week at a time. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were perfect sizes. The teenagers loved sleeping in the sun room. Excellent accommodations for the kitchen. Hot tub was perfect. The fire pit was also perfect. Well stocked bathrooms. John the caretaker was excellent to work with and very helpful in finding things to do in the area. Tony the owner was easy to get a hold of for any questions we might have had. He also rented us vehicles for the month and worked with us on check out date as far as letting us use one of the vehicles. We were on the edge of Anchorage and even saw the northern lights from the deck one morning.The property is in a great locations for access to amenities. We would highly recommend to anyone to rent this property.

Christmas Family Retreat

This property is AMAZING!!! We stayed here for the Christmas weekend with our family. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw a beautifully decorated tree and stockings on the wall. The Moose Pad is clean, decorated with cute moose/bear items, has spacious bed rooms, comfortable beds, and LOTS of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. The jetted tubs in each bathroom is a nice plus as well. The kitchen is AMAZING with lots of extras left by previous guests as well as PLENTY of Keurig pods and other essential items left by the owner to make our stay comfortable. The dining room table is very large which was perfect not only for our family to eat, but was also enough room for puzzles and games at the other end. The deck outside has strings of lights that are festive at night as you sit in the hot tub surrounded by a forest of trees covered in snow. It feels like a magical wonderland! Tony and John, the owner and maintenance man, were very communicative and helpful with any issue that arose, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this vrbo!!!!

Overnight Stay

This was just an overnight stay but was clean and the house was set out per the advertisement. 6 adults stayed ( 2x couples and 2x singles) so we did use the fold out. If we stayed any longer we would have wanted the lounge area to be set out to make it darker. But the private rooms were nice and dark. As far as facilities, bins were over full outside so hard to dispose of items but inside was good and had tea, coffee and baisc nacessaties. The spa and outdoor area was quite private dispite being above another lodgeing. ( the host did message day of check in to advise there was rennovations and they were loud for the time but we just left and came back later. It didnt distrupt our sleep or anything). As a side note, the fold out lounges were intesting to use but we are from Australia and maybe they are just different to ours and its common in America to push out from the bittom and then lift up. But the host did not reply to my question but we did figure it out. All in all good overnight experience.

Beautiful rooftop deck
