"The Paramount is right in the heart of downtown Portland. Within a block is shopping from Nordstrom, Pendleton, and Columbia as well as other designer labels. On both sides of the hotel’s (North and South) are parks. One is full of trees and lighting, the other a community space meant to connect others. Two blocks away is the pioneer square with transit to almost anywhere in town, local food trucks, and historic buildings. The Paramount has two restaurants on site, the Tavern serves up a mix of new American cuisine at affordable prices, and Swine delicious cocktails and small bites. Both can be charged to your room to come out of the deposit required ($75 per night) and the $10 daily credit. There’s coffee available outside in the lobby, and vending on multiple floors too. Their property is 15 stories high, yet the elevator is lightning fast. Within 20 seconds I was to my room, and ready to enter. Also, they take security seriously. Room keys required to use the elevator, and in the evening. The room was standard, had decently made furniture, a comfy king bed with many pillows, and came stock with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hand soap. Lots of different lighting options in the room, means you can adjust to comfort. The blackout curtains darkened the room so sleep was easy. The only true downside to the hotel, is that there were no microwaves in room or traditional room service. Otherwise, it was a great stay in the heart of downtown. "

"Roy has the heart of a host.My friend's car was broken into on the way to the house. When she arrived, he helped her tape up the window and vacuumed out the broken glass. It was exactly what one might expect if visiting family, but he's just a great host who treated us like family.The property was well-appointed, comfortable, and in a great location--about a five minute walk from the cool stores (Frock! Citizen Ruth!), bars, and restaurants of the Alberta Arts District. It's also close to Irvington, a historic neighborhood that's super fun for running.My friends and I are so grateful to Roy for a wonderful weekend!"

"The space is very nice, warm and inviting, and very comfortable with quality furnishings and decor, open and cozy at the same time.The host is very warm and friendly, and professional. Very good communicating with guests prior to arrival and during their stay, should they need anything.Highly recommended and we will definitely book again."

"I had an amazing experience at Cascada Spa and absolutely loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for, a place to truly get away and relax. We stayed here for our anniversary, and it was such a nice surprise to find a small gift waiting for us in the room. Everything is designed beautifully and feels very luxurious. The spa itself is incredible, and I especially loved that it wasn't crowded. The quiet policy in the sauna and jacuzzi area on the lower level makes it so peaceful and really allows you to fully unwind. It's such a pleasant place that I would come back anytime. I also loved that the room had a washer and dryer, and even a dishwasher, such a nice touch. The only downside is that there is no parking, so you have to find street parking in the neighborhood, which can be quite busy (I feel a little bad for the residents!). Definitely recommend this place!"
