"It is a very chic and comfortable hotel. The staff were helpful and I really enjoyed the pool side movie and the pool in general. Trolley service was great as well! It brought us right at the doorsteps of Universal studios and the metro station. It goes really well with the retro feel of the hotel in general. The only down side is it is a bit far from a lot of restaurants within walking distance, making the hotel restaurants the only options for us. Since we didn’t have a rental car, it is a bit less convenient for our family. Overall, we had a great time despite the challenges with food."

"Perfect for going to universal studios. Walking time with kids to universal was 5min. They have a shuttle to universal but it’s much quicker to just walk. If you have a large vehicle (I drive a pickup) you’ll need to use valet. The self parking structure is only 6’ 4”."

"The hotel is a great place to stay for a visit to Universal Studios. I would recommend walking to the park instead of waiting for the shuttle. It's not a long walk and is less crowded. The room was clean and the lobby market has a decent selection of snacks. However, our room smelled overwhelmingly of bleach and the AC was too loud. Also, the elevator was almost always out of order during the four days that we were there. The parking is convenient and covered. It is a good value for the price"
