Maryculter is our “ go to” property when we have a special occasion and are never let down. Excellent service amazing location and dog friendly for an extra £10 a night - the staff always go the extra mile

Another disappointing stay in a lovely location

A dreadfullyuncomfortable mattress on the bed, made sleep impossible. The bar menu is very limited and expensive.

Maryculter Hotel

Booked 2 night stay for family. Stunning location beside the river Dee which bedrooms overlooked. Hotel currently going through refurbishment, but did not impact on our stay. Very easily to get there by car, unsure of public transport links. Bedroom was nice with large double bed and usual amenities, tv, kettle, iron, etc. bathroom okay, but again needs refurbished. Arrived after 11pm on first night. Night Porter excellent, really made us feel welcome. Lite fire In residents lounge for us and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast offered good selection. Black pudding particular favorite. 2 night stay for 4 and breakfast was outstanding value. Classed as 4 star, not sure quite there yet, however for location, history, quaintness and service an absolute must for travelers to the area. Going back soon for Mother’s Day special.
