It has a fantastic waterfront dock which is a two minute walk from the RV. Launch your kayak or canoe from the property’s dock. Relax on the dock bench or beach chair while soaking up the sun enjoying your favourite book. The RV sleeps 2 and is designed for a couple. The accommodation is spacious and private. Surrounded by trees, the view from the deck is wonderful. The trailer is very well equipped with everything you would need for a week-long stay. The place is spotless and there are some lovely, personal touches which shows that the hosts sincerely want their guests to enjoy their stay. Rick and Pat are lovely, accommodating, and flexible. We have been hosts ourselves for over ten years and were so impressed with the hosts and this accommodation. Communication and directions were great. We had absolutely no problem finding the place. The hosts were very responsive and attentive...they are the best hosts we've ever met! The trailer is fully equipped and squeaky clean. The location is so quiet and picturesque. Before leaving, we booked the same dates for next year. The trailer is extremely comfortable and roomy. The owners, Pat and Rick, were welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting them and their doggies and spending a bit of time with them. The trailer was very clean, the kitchen was well appointed, and there were a lot of welcome touches like soap and shampoo, plenty of towels, dvd movies to watch, so many things! It was also great having a washer and dryer in the trailer. We can’t say enough good things about Hillview Retreat. We would highly recommend it to others and would definitely rebook should we find ourselves on Cape Breton again. ##### Cindy G.
