"This hotel is a great choice when visiting Aarhus. It's about 20 minutes outside the city but that means it's quiet and there's free parking. The room was large with a coat area and seating area plus the bed. The bed was a little too firm and comforters were individual sized. There were a few pillows to choose from. The curtains weren't blackout but there wasn't much light bleed. The bathroom was great. There was a deep soaker tub and a separate shower. The amenities were very nice....

"Very cute hotel in the middle of the old town. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, but the noise from the street kept waking us up - garbage trucks, street cleaners, & seagulls began at the crack of dawn. Get a room in the back to avoid this detail. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee was delicious. Arhus is a beautiful city, enjoy!"

We were lucky and we're on the 8th floor so kept our window open at night - not sure how traffic noise would have been lower down. Breakfast was excellent - a good selection and all good quality to set you up for the day, especially as food in Denmark is pricey. Well located to get to the main sites and close to the areas for good bars and restaurants - I would definitely chose to stay again if ever back in...

"We enjoyed our stay of 11 days. Spacious room and bathroom. Shower has a poor design as water runs all over the bathroom floor. And we missed a small fridge in the room. Breakfasts were very good. The beds were comfortable. The Scandic Aarhus City Hotel is well situated near restaurants and shops."
