"Excellent room in great location right in the middle of the Golden Mile. Also excellent reasonably priced restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. We faced the Golden mile and sound was completely insulated. Use their app where you can chat with them during your stay Very friendly staff "

"Excellent stay at the Cheval The Edinburgh Grand. It is located in the New Town area but it is a short walk to Old Town. We found it was a nice respite to leave the Old Town area due to how busy it is (think Times Square busy). Every person we encountered at the hotel was extremely nice and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh."

"My apartment was clean and larger than expected, with a a well stocked kitchen and spacious bathroom. Easy for EICC where I was at a conference. Close to Haymarket station abd tram. Very reasonably priced compared with hotels. Check in and out smooth. Would recommend. "

The furnishings appeared to be of high quality, particularly the window treatments and furniture in my room. I would certainly stay again!"

"After a long day of traveling it was very nice to be able to get in so easily. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is to have a hair dryer available, unless I just couldn’t find it. "

"I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...

"Excellent refurb. Not stayed for many years but a vast difference from the Golf Inn days. Only point might be its a bit pricey in the Stables restaurant.. Also need stronger coffee in the mornings - stick an extra spoon in the pot please!"
