« Overall nice property, well maintained and good service but I was shocked that it was rated a 4⭐️ hotel. The rooms are equivalent of a dorm room. The two beds barely fit and there is no open space in the room. The beds were hard as a rock and the bed cover was a bit scratchy against the skin. There was no desk or workspace, no mini fridge, and the sink was in the entryway. The upper & lower lobby are not comfortable for working all day so it was a bad choice given I was working during the...

The Flat Iron HotelDowntown Asheville
9.8 sur 10, Exceptionnel, (601 avis)
« The hotel does have a nice restaurant; however, they cater more to local customers versus hotel guests. We were told in a condescending tone that they had to honor reservations first. No guest priority. We were offered a table after 9:00 pm which was two hours later. So no dinner for us at the Flat Iron. But all the locals sure were happy. »

9.4 sur 10, Exceptionnel, (256 avis)
« At nearly $500 per night and given their Michelin recognition, the experience fell far below expected standards.
Key concerns include:
- Booking & Check-In: Inability to link our frequent stay number and no notification when our room was ready.
- Safety: Loose stone steps and uneven risers lacking handrails from the parking lot, exposed nails on wood planks, and flower pots obstructing the second-floor stair railings.
- Room Condition: Despite a 15% discount for two broken lamps, the...
