I wasn’t sure if it were thin walls or the connecting door to the room but we could hear the couple staying next door. The couple were fighting early in the morning and very late at night. "This is a well managed and cared for property. It’s an older building, but it’s cared for. It offers a great vibe and the hotel staff and cafe staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but provide you with the necessities and the beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The property is not close to any relevant beaches or attractions, but It is right of the I-5 and it has the transit train station a block away. I’d stay at the rambler again without thinking twice. "

"Hotel is a wonderful gem in the Gas Lamp District, a short walk to the bars and restaurants. The only negative is that it is a wonderful old building and sound proofing is not as good as it could be. Earplugs solve that. I would stay there again."

"It was nice to stay at the Dana where I can always know what I’m getting. A friendly check in process , easy parking and clean room. I visit often because my son and several of my girlfriends live in SD. Using the hotel.com app I was able to use my points and received a fantastic rate even on Mother’s Day weekend."
