« The hotel was very clean & new. Front desk clerks were very helpful & courteous. The pool water was a little too cold, but wasn't bad or a problem. The handle on the bathroom in a handicap room needed a minor repair, but again, wasn't bad. In all, it was a great stay for me, my sister, & our two dogs (the hotel is definitely pet-friendly), But the star of the show was the guy taking care of the breakfast area. « Gorgeous property inside and out. If you’ve ever been to Mackinac Island and liked it this is the place for you. Great common areas and every room is unique. Staff if the best. »

« Improve: Ducts in the room needed cleaning. Maintenance man with no uniform or identification randomly shows up to our room asking if we needed a tub fixed. We did not. Need better disposal of breakfast dishes. Sustain: The rooms are spacious and the appliances work. Rooms are clean, and have plenty of outlets. Gym equipment consists of Life Fitness ellipticals and treadmill. Common areas are well kept, and the front desk staff went above and beyond. »

Chambre agréable et bien équipée, la literie est plus que correcte. Malheureusement le jour au niveau de la porte et l’insonorisation font qu’on entend beaucoup. La nuit ne vous attendez pas à une chambre obscure avec la lumière du couloir qui traverse la porte. Concernant le petit déjeuner, inexistant...

« The residence is nice with great views of the lake and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our one recommendation would be to provide better basic essentials in the kitchen area. A large frying pan or cooking griddle would have been very helpful, and we actually bought and left a few kitchen scratch scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans. »
