"Loved the location. Loved the building— it’s a beautiful facility, indoors and out. Room was spacious. Everything was quite clean. Enjoyed the hot breakfast. Only downside was the signs of disrepair, like the place is a little neglected. The nearby ice maker was not working, and appeared to be shut off semi-permanently. The pool was out of service (the sign said for the season, but this was late May.???). The elevators made scary noises like they were on their last legs- my kids commented...

"From check in to check out the stay was great. Jamel checked us in and gave us tips on nearby food and the area. Every time we saw him after that, he spoke or waved at us. The indoor pool was nice, breakfast was good. No complaints. We will stay here again if coming back to Norfolk."
