« Very nicely appointed rooms, spacious common areas, very clean bathrooms, copious breakfast, friendly staff. We were able to use the refrigerator and even got to use an ice pack for our aching legs. A wonderful place to recharge after a day of cycling! The owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Overall there was a very friendly vibe and we enjoyed chatting with other guests while relaxing on the porch. »

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « When I got there I was given a different unit than described. It would not work for my situation. The desk corrected it by giving me another unit. That did not work as well. Guest services got involved and upgraded our reservation to larger condo and it was perfect. I highly suggest always checking out your condo as soon as it’s available. Fortunately we were able to do all this switching between three units around noon instead of after 4 pm. The normal check in time. »

« The location of the accommodation is superb. 2 min away from ski resort, and 4 min away from a mart. The place is well-organized and decorated. Amenity for kids was another big plus. i.e. Genga, lego, sink toy, etc. Kitchin is also very well equipped. electric stove, coffee brewer, many dishes, pots, and frying pans. the kitchen is practical. One minor downside is that the kitchen knife is too dull to the point that it is not usable for cutting meat. »
