"Such a friendly place. The guy who checked us in was welcoming, humorous and efficient. He worked so hard, I hope the company realise how great an asset he is. He manned reception, served our meal, ran the bar (thanks for the Negroni) and was there doing it all again at breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was exceptional both at dinner and breakfast. Rooms might be ready for an revamp but everything was clean and worked well. "Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The room was so comfortable and everyone was so respectful of being quiet. The front desk staff were also very friendly. I only wish I had brought a swimsuit so I could have enjoyed the spa, but did not think of it. It is also very conveniently located by the train station. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Location is a double-edged sword. Having a balcony overlooking the grote markt/stadhuis is only nice during the day. Sleeping with all the noise was difficult but overall still possible. The rooms appear to have not been renovated in a while and the hallways were quite dirty. A huge plus is the food, as the restaurant is much better and has many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner"
