« This was perfectly located for where I needed to be, accessible by public transport, right near excellent restaurant precinct. The accommodation itself was clean and I had everything I needed. Check-in after hours was easy. »

« It was really great stay, the staff was so kind and friendly, They response so quickly less than a 2min when I had a question and call or text them ! The room I stayed has air conditioner, the they have few toilet and shower, laundry, and the kitchen was so big !!! They clean the kitchen so hard when I saw them, I felt bad to use the kitchen because it was so clean !!haha I extended stay, Thank you so much for all the help ! »

« The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. »

« Lack of service.... Never anyone at reception.. Was told I could only pay cash for the booking... And when I decided to extend my booking the next night, I checked the price online and it was $80 But when the manager/receptionist finally arrived I saw her on one of the floors as she was cleaning the rooms. « Hotel se situant a coté d'un bar. Aucun probleme pour le check in et une porte se situe a l'exterieur pour entrée de l'hotel . Neanmoins personne pour le check out et bar fermé. Obligation de laisser les valises dans la chambre et non dans une consigne. A revoir Pour la chambre en elle meme. Elle est vieillissante et il manque une chaise. Pas pratique pour manger ou ecrire. « Pay some extra money and stay somewhere else if you don’t want to breathe in cigarette smoke or if you want some sleep. The room windows all opened out onto the smoking deck - what a treat- especially when traveling with kids- love a good ciggy for the family floating in through the louvre windows that you can’t close. « The hostel was not really clean especially the bathrooms but that s not necessary the fault of the hostel. However the breakfast is located in a travel agency with few places to sit. In addition you get harassed by the agency to buy a trip. »

« mould all over the shower curtains in the bathroom. I didn’t want to shower because i didn’t want to breathe in the spores. No door on the bathroom, Just a curtain that was see through. The room could have been cleaner. The traffic outside was extremely noisy and it wasn’t really near any restaurants. It’s passable if you’re desperate but otherwise i’d book somewhere else. »

« I spent a few nights at the Asylum Sydney and can recommend this hostel although its furniture is a bit long in the tooth. That i enjoyed my stay is primarily due to the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful and the mix of the guests was very pleasant and due to the small size of the hostel you easy make contact with other guests. Other benefits are plugs for every bunk, locker on the room and free but simple breakfast. »

« Notre chambre était près de la cour où les gens fesaient jouer de la musique forte et parlaient très fort. Puisque les murs sont très minces et les fenêtres ne bloquent pas le bruit, on avait du mal à dormir et on s'est fait réveillé souvent. Le lit était confortable par contre et les employés très gentils. Le hostel est situé à 3 mins d'un métro qui permet de se rendre en ville rapidement. »
