2/10 Terrible

"This was the worst place I've ever stayed, and I've stayed at some doozies. Don't do it. Even if you're like me and think, I just need a bed and a bathroom. This one's not worth it unless you like cat pee and no locks on rooms. Upon arrival at 1130 pm with my 7 yo, I had to call for help. The woman answered with hello and she informed me she was the owner when I asked if I was reaching the hotel. She immediately told me if I had a reservation I had to cancel because she didn't have any rooms. She continued to tell me she couldn't help me after informing her it was a no cancellation online. She said tough and I needed to leave. A very drunk guest was trying to help me and wanted me to take his room. This annoyed the owner, Kimberly, as he was too loud for her to sleep. She said wait a minute and "found us a clean room" magically, in her pajamas half asleep. Problem was, the room didn't lock. Not at all. I thought it was a glitch with the key she'd given me, that she gave without asking my name or information. Nope. Didn't lock. At all. Seriously uncomfortable after a very intoxicated male guest won't leave a female and her 7 yo son alone. My 7 yo slept for a handful of hours as he'd had surgery that day. Then we left very early in the morning and were scolded because we should have know she would be outside when asking for assistance. It took me 15 minutes to find her as no one else was working, and no one would answer the phone even after about 10-12 calls."

"Woman at front desk spoke very softly, and it was hard to hear her even when she was asked to speak louder. We didn’t know about the $60 hold. The room was clean and comfortable with good tv stations. WiFi was so-so. Common areas could use updating and continental breakfast was basic. Nobody seemed to be available at checkout."
