This is one of the must have slow travels one can added to the main tours of Kisoro like the Gorilla trekking, Golden monkey trekking, hiking of the volcanoes, Batwa trails. This activity allows one to immerse him/her self in the community, hit-off the beaten path of Kisoro's hidden gems.
The tour starts at 9:00 am after having breakfast and we ride through the community roads. We do a simple hike of Sagitwe one of the caldera with historical stories shared at the top of it. There too you will have a sight of the Volcanoes of Virunga Massif.
We then ride to Lake Mutanda where we do a nature walk a long the shores. There we have a water break. We will then head back to the starting point.
