« there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing. »

« Adorable cabin at the end of the lane. Excellent amenities, front porch was where we spent most of or time. Sweet little getaway for a couple or small family in excellent condition. However, it is small; one bedroom doubles as the television room. There are no laundry facilities, and no place to really "unpack." The only dining area is on the porch. « We love staying at the lake house. It is perfect for my family and our second time to rent this property. The property's is conveniently located close to the interstate and nearby stores. We really enjoyed the porch and swimming from a nice swim deck. They have a great game room which was perfect for three preteens and 1 teenager. « We had a great time on our Spring Break at Smith Lake. The house is beautiful and very well stocked with kitchen essentials and also games, books, puzzles, and even some toys for the kids. We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy the kayaks and sit in the sunshine on the dock. The host was very attentive & responsive. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon! »

Of note, steep incline driving down to the parking area then limited space to turn vehicle around in order to drive back up and out. « We loved the property. The home was very well done and recently renovated. The downstairs area had 2 pull out sofas with a huge TV with speakers everywhere which was great for the young adults. The master bedroom had beautiful views. The property had a wonderful fire pit where we all gathered each evening. There were lots of outdoor spaces with seating to enjoy also. Tim was easy to contact and responded to our questions quickly. »

« Such a beautiful place. The hosts do everything to make it very nice for their guests…lots of extra touches that don’t happen elsewhere (fresh-baked bread, welcome basket, nice toiletries, etc). The yard is gorgeous. Immaculately kept and so many pleasant seating areas near fires. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and jumping rock. The living areas are all bright, new and fresh.
