« Went for 3 nights with the kids and a friend of mine. We had an awesome time. The place itself was cozy and had lots of character. There was a little fishing hole in the floor inside that we caught two fish in! Pearl was an awesome host, showing us how to get fishing bait and ensuring our stay was an enjoyable one. « We were so thrilled to meet our hosts. We upgraded to the boat with the hole. It was the most fun I have had in years. We invited our family to our accommodations (they were staying by Tonquin Beach) they all expressed the desire to come stay at Strawberry Island with Pearl and Brett at a future date. « My three (young adult) kids and I stayed in the Yellow Cabin on Strawberry Island for a few days at the end of August 2023. We really enjoyed ourselves. As a houseboat, it was a delightfully unusual place to stay, and the sights and sounds in the harbour were fascinating and constantly changing. « The facilty is excellent in every way. The operators were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only downside is the 8km of very rugged dirtroad to get to the facility. Average speed about 15-20km/h and that was still pushing the comfort level in driving on the road. But we'll still go again -- just to enjoy the safari tents the next time. »

« Quiet location, the view was interesting and ever changing with tide, clouds, boats and birds. When not walking, biking, shopping we played board games and watched a movie supplied by host. Laundry machines where a blessing. I appreciated the few kitchen supplies that where there(cooking oil, spice). Shampoo, body wash would have been nice to have on hand. »

« Another amazing stay at the Dunes cabin. All the amenities needed for a perfect stay. Comfortable beds, large kitchen and open living room with cozy fireplace. We loved the deck and hot tub especially on rainy days. Easy walking distance to Chesterman Beach , beaches groceries, and an awesome bike and walking trail that stretches for miles .
