« House was decent but there were several items than needed repaired. Coffee table in living room. Microwave handle. Several lights not working. Couch in den was stained all over. Master shower curtain was about 1 ft off the ground leaving an open area and water got in the floor. Outside back porch and garage area had leaves and debris that kept getting tracked in. We had to sweep several times a day. Mailbox was broken so we had a hard time finding the house when we arrived. »

« This home is so unique and has tons of charm. It’s easy to find and is a short drive to Greenville, Lake Lure & Asheville which allowed us to do all kinds of activities on our trip. The home is well appointed for everything we needed. Beds were comfy too which is a bonus! The owner, Ian, was so kind and even invited our kids to help feed the baby goats on property! « We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was extremely clean. We saw bunnies from the deck. Our only concern was the quality of bed linens which was not good. The sheets were rough and scratchy and there was no top sheet. We only had the comforter to cover up with and it was too hot. We did try to reach the owner to request different linens but they did not return our calls or emails. If the linens had not been a issue we would give this house a 5 star rating in all areas. »
