« We were attending our daughter's graduation from Northwest Missouri State. It was my husband and I with both of our Mothers and my best friend. This place was absolutely perfect! Everyone was able to have a bedroom and the living area is HUGE! We spent the whole weekend and would have loved to stay longer. Such history in the house and the town square was amazing! Highly recommend El Ray Pappis Mexican restaurant. The tamales were Awesome! Greg was the perfect Host. He had snacks by the coffee...

« Sit by the River, listen to the birds, watch the eagles, feel the breeze, and have access to lots of great restaurants, all kinds of music, shopping and historic sites. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, wi-fi and Roku TV. Very clean, and if you’re lucky you might get to meet a sweet dog named Finn. If you want an “upscale” resort with amenities this is probably not your spot, but we LOVED it! Thanks, Anthony for being a thoughtful host. 😊 »

« My husband and I needed a few days of quiet and solitude and Janet and her cottage were perfect in every way! The covered porch made for a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the rain and the birds singing. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen provided what I needed to cook (one of my ways to unwind), the fireplace was a great addition...Janet thought of everything. The property and the cottage exude peace...just what we needed! »

« The house is extremely unique with a ton of attention to details. That is true for the house and furnishings but also in the way the house is stocked. Unlike other places where you can’t find spare toilet paper this one has everything you need and things can actually be found. No question I would recommend this property to others. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at this property. My elderly mom was with us and we had a wonderful time and enjoyed looking at all the antiques and the detail in this home. Anything you could ever need is provided for you and everything is so neat and clean. My mom didn’t want to leave. It was close to everything we did in Saint Joseph. »

Our host David was communicative and accessible, although we had little need to reach him as everything was well organized and clear. The place was very clean and comfortable. There was a minor hiccup with the key not being in the designated lockbox but Terri was very responsive and helpful to get me access to the unit. I really appreciated how kind Terri was and how great the place was overall.
