« Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here. »

« We booked a 3 nights trip there that we will remember but not for the good reasons. You have to know that you dont really have front desk there. You are on your own and sometimes you can meet people that work there that can help you out. The lodging where you will stay are not noisy. it is hard to sleep since you can hear every sound from the jungle during the night. « I was very happy with the choice of staying at this place. I stayed for two months and was able to cook. The beds were comfortable and the space felt large. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs that has views of the mountains. So when it rains you can still hang out on the porch. The sunset clouds are so beautiful. There is the most wonderful local family that overseas the property. The only downside is the road up to the place is really rough. »
