I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. In the ‘overly-long welcome letter,” that I sent you, you would have found the information that you needed. It contained simple steps for all of the issues that you encountered, including the simple fix for the Wifi (turning it off at the main switch, waiting, and then turning it back on) – which would also have reset the ‘non-functioning TV.” that works off the Wifi. The firewood that I provide is hardwood, and the steps listed in my welcome letter cover lighting it. My letter encouraged you to read it for your safety and comfort, and I regret that you had difficulty with it. As to the refrigerator and the sink, you never mentioned this at the time, when it could have been remedied, as I would have had housekeeping take care of it in a timely fashion.

So sorry that you had issues with sleeping. As you say, most condos in Mammoth Lake were built in the '70's,, and mine has many updated features and new appliances. The bamboo mattress cover is for hygiene purposes as are the pillow protectors. This is preferable to sleeping on an unprotected mattress. Also, if you need ventilation, you only need to open the window and/or turn on the large ceiling fan.

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay, you should have contacted me while you were in the condo. There is plenty of light both from the sliding window and all of the various light fixtures. Track lights, large LED on kitchen hood, light bars in bathrooms, all work well.

I’m sorry you did not have an enjoyable vacation. You booked my second floor, 2-story ski loft, with no handicap access, knowing of your difficulty with stairs. The photos on my site accurately show my ski cabin, from which it is obvious that it is NOT shabby, although not ultra-modern, and the decor not to your taste. Three sets of track lights, wall sconces and the large sliding glass doors to the living room deck, and an extremely bright light on the new exhaust hood above the newish electric range in the kitchen, as well as sundry lamps and light fixtures provide plenty of light. Also, the almost new 55” Amazon Fire TV and the 40” TLC both function perfectly, although you did say you didn’t understand Alexa. I am always available to assist on the phone with any technical or other difficulties, but received no response from you to my text message. I do hope that your future vacation experiences are fun, with decor more to your liking.

Michael, I am sorry you had this experience, but suspect that you may have not read the wood stove directions. If you operate the stove with the door open, you will smell soot. In common with most wood stoves, it is designed to radiate heat while CLOSED. Please let me know if this is not the case. Thank you.

Thanks for your comments, Simon. I appreciate the suggestion to install handholds in the showers, as they are helpful for most people, unsteady or not. We felt the solid handrail on the stairs to be sufficient as the stairwell is quite narrow, but we will look into it.
