Accommodations: Two-story condo, Living Room + open Loft, King-size bed, queen sofa-sleeper, and futon day-bed, and full kitchen with new electric stove, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, etc. Wood stove. 2 large full baths with hairdryers. (Sleeps-5). 2 large flat-screens w/cable and Blueray. Ample convenient parking. Free firewood. Also Wifi. walking distance from free shuttles to slopes, and to stores and restaurants. Availability Calendar is Accurate - Please check it before requesting info.

Warm south-facing condo with ample free parking, saunas and jacuzzis, in town within convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store, movie theater, Looney Bean and Starbucks. Roughly 1.5 blocks to restaurants such as, Moguls, Robertos, Rafters, Grumpys, and more. Mammoth's number one gym for yoga, cardio, or weights is 1/2 block away. The condo is located in popular Mountain Shadows complex, near convenient free shuttles that will have you skiing in minutes. The green line shuttle in front of our building takes you 1.5 miles to Eagle Lodge/Cloud 9 Express. The Red line shuttle to Village and Main Lodge is one block away. Convenient for hiking, biking, fishing, mountain biking, etc. 30 feet from our unit is a large, steamy, hot Jacuzzi, spacious relaxing sauna and clean, modern laundry facilities; the complex has two Jacuzzis and two saunas, gas grills and picnic tables. A swimming pool is available in the summer.

This center unit sleeps four to five people in comfort, has an outside deck and two very spacious levels with high vaulted ceilings, so it stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and is never drafty.

The fully-equipped kitchen features a new, clean design electric range, coffee maker, rice cooker, popcorn maker and popcorn, toaster, microwave, blender, wine glasses and everything that you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay.

In the open loft, there is a 32-inch flat-screen TV and ample dresser drawers and storage, and a spacious full bathroom. Enjoy restful sleep after your day outdoors in the very comfortable king bed with pillow-top mattress and cozy bedding.

The living area has a dining table with an internal leaf that pulls out to seat six, a bar area with extra seating, a 40-inch flat-screen TV and a blue-ray player so that you can enjoy your own CDs and movies, or bring your home library card and borrow free movies from the public library. Cable TV is provided for your enjoyment. The new queen pullout sleeper is comfy, and you will enjoy the full private bathroom.

A wonderful wood-burning stove with fire-starters and free firewood will keep you warm and cozy. (You only need one log to stay warm all night – just follow the simple instructions on the bulletin board).

All fresh, clean linens, toiletries and hairdryers are provided.

Please, no smoking or pets in our squeaky-clean condo!

While known for world-class skiing, this area has well stocked lakes and streams for fishing, and nearby seasonal hiking in the breathtaking Eastern Sierra Mountains, golf, horseback riding, kayaking, mountain-biking, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and all that Mammoth Lakes and the back country wilderness areas have to offer.

Great place to close to everything. WiFi was only issue and lack of cellular service in the location. But overall great.

Outdated and unkept
- Check-in email/instructions was unreasonably long (2,050 words to be exact) - Non-functioning wifi (Angela didn’t reply when I messaged her about this on our first night) - Provided firewood to keep condo warm was low quality and incredibly difficult to start - Advertised balcony was full of stuff so we couldn’t utilize it at all - Fridge was not cleaned out; there was food left in the fridge and freezer - Non-functioning tv - Bathroom sink on first floor wasn’t draining properly - Provided dish sponge was old and dirty P.S. Not the end of the world, but the condo is in need of an update

I guess you get what you pay for
Okay so yes the place is a little cheaper than a lot of places in mammoth and it’s nice that it is just 15 min drive to main lodge I’ll give it that but that’s probably all I liked about it. Now I never really leave bad reviews but this was just frustrating. Right off the bat I texted the owner if we could check in early and got no response. We wanted to go in early on Friday because we got to mammoth earlier than needed to get a little time on the mountain. We ended up just checking at the set time at 4. When we tried to make food almost every dish we grabbed was dirty so we had to wash it before we could even make anything to eat. Then it was cold and we wanted to start the fire and I texted her once again to ask where the fire starters were because in her directions on starting a fire she said to use them. Again no response. We went to the store to get themand then found the fire starters in the bathroom under the sink which makes no sense because there’s cabinet right next to the fire place thing where it could be stored. Then the next problem was the wifi was really slow and then it stopped working all together and kept saying the password we had was wrong. I texted the owner once again and got no response. We packed up and left on Sunday before 11am because that’s when the stated check out time was. And at 1:05pm on Sunday she finally responded to my massages from the past 3 days. I informed her it was too late and recommended she responds sooner to her guests next time

Highly recommend!
The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed, bed was super comfy, towels were soft. Location couldnt have been better and the price was great. All in all, we loved it and cant wait to stay there again!

Great Place
Simple yet with more than everything you need! Really user friendly. A fantastic area that offers so much, and a lovely place to base from. The ethical question of short term rentals taking away places to live of course remains but if you are reading this then you, like me, have made the choice to participate in that. Perhaps it is a bit of a Tragedy of the Commons thing... I will fly, hey it is just me, I will rent, hey it is just me, this is great (and it is! for the renter and landlord). That's a larger question of zoning, a structural issue, he writes, passing the buck, wondering if VRBO will publish this. In short, a great place, if this is what you want to do, and I did, and do. Yet.

Great Location, Cozy Place
My boys and I had a wonderful time in Mammoth in large part due to the great location of this rental. Reasonably priced, cozy, steps away from the nearest shuttle stop, and even closer to the outdoor spa located right in front, you won’t get much better value than this. Angela was also great and communicative, which only adds to the overall good experience!
