« Liked, Loved the rental house lay-out. Ease of directions despite pea-soup fog on arrival after dark. Liked proximity to two provincal parks (< 20 mintes each). Central loocation for several "day trips" < 1.5 hours to most destinations). Even loved the next-door neighbors, 10 to 12 cows and calfs. Quiet, almost remote, little road traffic. »

« The property is even lovelier than the photos and it has everything you could need during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for any meals, super comfy bed, lots of wood for the stove, and very clean throughout. It was so easy communicating with the hosts and they are very thoughtful with their guests - would happily stay again! »

La plage devant le chalet n’est pas facilement accessible pour tout le monde…. Pour la baignade c’est préférable d’aller à la plage publique à Kingsport… Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et l’aide de Linda lors de notre arrivée en Nouvelle Ecosse »

« Centrally located one street up from downtown kentville, this house is clean, homey and spacious. The host was so thoughtful, even prepared the fire pit outside with wood for us. The kitchen is very well equipment and included all the basics and more (salt, oil,, vinegar, coffee, …). would recommend to any friend visiting Nova Scotia. »

« The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! Enjoyed the daily visitation of the humming birds! Amazing! Thank you for sharing your home with us! »

« We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer. »

« We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!! »

« Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter...

« Nice, quiet inn with pretty decent amenities. The small appliances provided make the visit so much easier if you’re wanting a lazy stay-cation. The tub was nice for the romantic getaway we were hoping for. I’m sure we’ll be visiting again. »

« First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. The views were beautiful, and the house was perfect from the decor to kitchen/bathroom essentials. Access to Baxter Falls is steps away from the house, towns close by. You could ask for anything more! I would highly recommend Barb and her rental to anyone travel to Nova Scotia. I would definitely book with...
