« We had a great stay in the upstairs apartment overlooking the ocean. The accommodation is great, it is not 5 star but you don't need that here as you live outside on the veranda, on the beach and if you are us at The John Moore Bar round the corner. « Whispering Palms is a beautifully appointed Villa on a peaceful private gated road just a few minutes walk to one of the most idyllic beaches in Barbados. The Villa has everything you need for relaxing dining on the terrace or a BBQ by the pool. It is only a short walk to JuJu's beach bar for a sundowner, 5 star dining at the Lone Star or a short drive to an array of bars and restaurants in Holetown. « We booked a two week stay at the property as we were looking for a quiet place where we could chill out without the crowds hotels. The plunge pool/jacuzzi swung it for my wife as we were able to use this exclusively without restriction. Moira who owns the property lives next door and is always on hand with advice and help but doesn't impose on guests which is nice. Beware if you are allergic to dogs as she owns a small corgi sized dog which has free run of the garden area but is very friendly...
