« The hotel is new so the rooms are clean and well cared for. I could not find the inserts for the coffee maker (Keurig) and when I told the desk clerk as we checked out, she told me that they were in the dishwasher since housekeeping always put them in the dishwasher. I told her that was the last place I would have looked, I did look in the coffee supply basket as well as the drawers. She seems more interested in justifying the situation than correcting it. « The little house was exactly as described. It was very cute, spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and I’m picky about my bed! The train tracks are VERY close, but we enjoyed watching the trains go by. There were about 3 per night. The horns woke us but we were lulled back to sleep by the sound of the trains. The kitchen was well equipped but I suggest you bring your own spices if you plan to cook. The area is gorgeous and we were able to hike many trails throughout the park....

« The cadin was what I expected. True to the pictures. It was very clean. I chose this place to get closer to God and that was what i got. My only suggestion to the property's owners is that the screening around the porch be fixed. It let in some yellow jackets and a couple got in the house. Would not be good if somebody staying there got stung and was allergic to them. Overall, I would go back. »

« Once booked, I had nothing but great communication with Karen the owner. She left a lovely note about the history of the home and how it has been in her family since it was built. It was built in 1902 and is an older home, but it gives a great feeling of what it is to live in the hills of West Virginia. Her Mom welcomed us and visited to make sure we had everything we needed. « We spent a few nites here exploring the area. The house had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at home and the kitchen was fully stocked.
