Vieille hotel un peu desuet, Les tapis dans les couloirs sont un peu salle La salle de bain aurait vraiment besoin d’etre rafraichi, les murs sont comme en carton… j’entendais la voisine chanter et ecouter sa television.

The breakfast is only on the weekend and after seeing the small room it's in. I can understand why. After sightseeing all day, we arrived to the room after 5:30 and the room was still not cleaned. After the 2nd time, we just asked for clean towels. Interesting enough. Our room was ready when we arrived for our stay. Lots of great restaurants and stores in the area. The train station is across the street. Only half an hour from Laguardia airport.

The hotel is not what was advertised. There was no parking, no breakfast, no refrigerator in the room, the TV remote did not work (two of them), the air conditioning was poor, and it was loud.

This hotel was a major disappointment.Thinking and paying for a Boutique Hotel Experience in what is considered a great part of Long Island we were very disappointed. To start off the service we experienced was top notch Brian was amazing and helped us check in sooner than expected.Thanks Brian.Juan Carlos Helped me with directions to a local restaurant and parked my car right in front of the hotel which was amazing, Thanks Juan Carlos.This place needs a major overhaul.The Carpet, Walls , Elevators, Furniture and Bathrooms are all disgusting with major stains and or water damage including the ceilings in the room and hallways. The furniture is falling apart from what appears to be water damage and or Dog chewing.The Mattress which is usually of high quality in other hotels was nothing but an old Spring Mattress that was squeaking more than my Father in-laws Wallet. Window was broken which prevented it from fully closing.Doorknob on the bathroom door was falling apart.The door that separates the rooms is not sound Insulated so you will hear all the coughing, sneezing , Bumping and Grinding 😜😜 going on in the next room all day and all night.The people working here and cleaning are doing there best to maintain this dump but you can only clean a dilapidated place so much. I wish I did a little more research on hotels before I booked this place which was almost $400.00 for 1 night. This is in no way an insult to the staff of this Hotel but even they deserve Better. NEVER RETURN.

First of all this is listed as a “boutique “ hotel. Maybe 20 years ago. Upon check in the internet was down. The night manager, with food dripping out of his mouth, couldn’t give me a key and suggested I just leave the door wedged open as I had to go back down to the car. By the following morning the elevator wasn’t working, so I had to walk up and down a dingy set of stairs to leave and someone had to walk back up to open door. The car valet and day front desk man were great- they didn’t have much control over problems. My room was clean ( if outdated) but the common areas , hallways, and elevator carpet were in need of cleaning and maintenance. 24 hrs later I got a key and the elevator was fixed. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there. And honestly should be given a refund for part of my stay-

My 'check-in' was awful (it was right after midnight, which I'd informed that it would be then), which left me with a bitter taste, as the person (I'll not say, clerk, as he looked like someone whose slumber I'd disturbed and who presented as such)---came to the counter, whilst on a personal phone call and fumbled my confirmation by deleting same, as it wasn't being given the required 'full attention' by someone in the 'service industry'. I eventually was able to make my way to the room, which didn't 'live-up' to the exorbitant rate I was charged. (a few rustic appliances adorned the room in the form of a radio, bath and toilet fixtures and air condition unit, which wasn't a design addition, but ancient features. The next day's staff was the only feature that presented as current and not 'a throwback' and they allayed my fears, that my stay wouldn't be a total disaster. Would I stay there again; no!

Arrived late night and the check in guy was so rude, there was no parking available and when asked where i should park he said he didn't know. I was ready to pack up and leave the next morning. Then i met Veronica and Willie - great customer service by them, they went above and beyond to make the rest of my stay enjoyable. The room we had was not the greatest but they are in the process of renovating rooms . We already have another stay planned here, hopefully with a newer room.

The building is an old building. Not renovated; furniture is dirty and worn out in lobby. Rooms are decent size. Bathroom very old and bathroom door didn’t close. Staff was great but the place was a bit underwhelming.

There was no housekeeping for 2 days. Had no towels, no soap. Room was left a mess. Manager was on “vacation” and nowhere to be found. I spend over $800 for my stay.. I expected better treatment, better quality, especially for the area where the hotel is located. Very disappointed.

Just go to a Motel 8… It seems like a great price for a luxury boutique hotel, but there is absolutely nothing luxury, boutique or even acceptable about it, except a generally really good staff at the front desk~I would say all the people were great, but then I came in at about 10 pm to find tbe I got sneakers off and with his filthy socks propped up on the desk. I had to keep calling him from the front and he was obviously inconvenienced that he had to get up to give me towel… And then get up again when my key didn’t work ( each time I left I had to go down to have the key activated again) This place needs to be painted or at the very least cleaned~The carpets are old and worn, but worse covered in junk and dirt that it looked like wasn’t vacuumed every day that I was there~There were two small desk lamps in the room, period. No overhead light and the standing light didn’t work. The heat cannot be adjusted, so it was blasting and I slept with the window wide open for three nights in February so the fresh air being so chilly balanced out the extreme heat, but came with the noise of train passing by right outside. Even little things like the desk chair, which I had to bring into the bathroom with the only light to see to get ready, was so stained and filthy that I had to put a towel over it to sit on it~The price was very low on Expedia, but even a budget hotel should be clean and have heat and light~ Don’t stay here~
