« Superbe hôtel en vrai pierre. Lit très confortable, chambre très agréable. Il n'y a pas d’ascenseur. Au petit déjeuner, le cuisinier vous prépare réellement votre repas. Avec une Suite, la salle de bain est très bien mais à l'étage, donc la nuit il faut monter pour utiliser les toilettes. »

« Accueil minimal, on arrive dans la chambre : fenêtre ouverte, pas de chauffage (Il fait 2° dehors) On allume, on attend...rien, on téléphone à la réception...ah oui, on va vous le brancher !!!! Flacon à produit de douche vide, boite à Kleenex...vide (c'est pas essentiel, mais quand on prépare une chambre...on remplace ce qui est terminé) et pour couronner le tout...la tuyauterie du siècle dernier avec un bruit d'enfer »

« Very modern room next to a traditional pub. We enjoyed our stay. Great view of the coast with binoculars provided in the room. They pack a ice chest with your continental breakfast and provided a small refrigerator in the hall. »

« Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. »

« Beautiful house in a lovely location. Very hospitable hosts who welcomed us into their kitchen for a pot of tea on arrival. They gave us lots of information about the area and good places to eat. Spotlessly clean room with lovely toiletries. Good quality tea and coffee and Welsh Cakes. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and of the best quality. We will definitely stay here again. »

« The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. « We had a lovely one night stay whilst walking on Gower. Rooms are smartly appointed and comfy, in the evening there is an excellent small plates menu on offer plus ice cream parlour. Popular with locals so had a nice atmosphere, but by 10.30pm the crowds had gone and we had a quiet night's rest. Ideal for Wales Coast path walkers. »
