« Les heures d'ouverture de la réception le matin est un peu tard (9h le weekend). Le personnel est très gentil et veut vraiment aider. N'est pas très pratique pour la mobilité, il y a toujours des escaliers à monter et descendre. Il y a énormément d'échos, ce qui fait que c'est toujours bruyant, dès que quelqu'un passe dans les escaliers ou les corridors. Petit déjeuner simple, mais efficace. Pour un très court séjour seulement. »

« I spent a few nights at the Asylum Sydney and can recommend this hostel although its furniture is a bit long in the tooth. That i enjoyed my stay is primarily due to the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful and the mix of the guests was very pleasant and due to the small size of the hostel you easy make contact with other guests. Other benefits are plugs for every bunk, locker on the room and free but simple breakfast. »

« The hostel was not really clean especially the bathrooms but that s not necessary the fault of the hostel. However the breakfast is located in a travel agency with few places to sit. In addition you get harassed by the agency to buy a trip. »
