« For the amount paid the room and breakfast were good however things such as check in being at 4pm, having to book the pool in advance (we couldn't even use it the day of check out as it was fully booked) and general customer service (not having room number taken at breakfast and having to find staff member ourselves) let this place down »

« We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party. We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself. The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling. Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called...

"Le restaurant est vraiment bien. Malheureusement pour avoir une bonne nuit (ce qui reste l'essentiel dans mon cas), c'est compliqué quand la chambre est au dessus des cuisines dans une vieille bâtisse... Bruiante jusqu'à plus de 23h puis ça repart avec réception marchandise à 6h."
