« Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. »

« Newly decorated apartment. But very small, no room around bed. Hot water ran out every morning after 1 shower. Also there is NO parking permit. »

« Peaceful location with amazing views. The Apartment is located in a beautiful area but still close to the A6 for getting out & about. Lovely walks right on the doorstep too. The Apartment is a good size & well equipped. The rooms all provide great views of the area. Booked our stay here after realising we had not stayed in Derbyshire before & so pleased we did, thank you Elaine for making us feel so welcome. »

« Ideal location for exploring the Peak district Property was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. Availability of Netflix very nice touch. Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size »

It was very comprehensive and as well as telling us everything we needed to know about the studio it also had great info about places to eat and things to do. The studio itself was great, it was immaculately clean and we loved the little touches of being left bread, milk and biscuits. « The Cotton Rooms was perfectly located for everything in Matlock, plus lots of walks nearby. Spotlessly clean and with lots of added touches, including a lovely Christmas tree! Just a bit noisy on the road at night but it was New Year and we were next to a few pubs so was as expected. Great stay, would definitely go back! »

« The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage. »

Really high quality, lovely and clean, excellent location, very well presented, and quiet. Great for a couples break and so convenient for shopping, walking or just sitting in the local park and watching the world go by. Plenty of places to eat nearby, would thoroughly recommend! »
