« We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions. »

Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences. »

« We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :) »

« There were nine of us in our family group ranging in age from 4 to 63 years of age. All of us had a fantastic time. Swimming and water play were the highlights. We found the fact that the sun didn’t reach the west facing dock until noon a real plus. Afternoon and evening sun was wonderful. The upstairs area held a family of five easily. Lots of fans (no air conditioning) and beds. The host kindly left special treats for the kids as we had an 8th birthday to celebrate. It was an amazing family...

« The property is amazing, it’s beautiful and well kept. The trees offer shade but you get plenty of sun as well. We appreciated the netted gazebo structure when we spent time outside. All appliances and kitchen utensils were provided and easy to find. The dishwasher and cleaning supplies made everything a breeze when cleaning up. The interior was very well kept. « We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are much more spacious than the photos depict; there was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The girls had their own space away from the grown ups, and we could enjoy some quiet time too. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. The location was perfect for us, easy to find and less than 5 minutes to the ski hill. The Eagle Lake store had everything we needed when we ran out. Such a wonderful, well-equipped home. « Beautiful cottage on a quiet lake. The cottage has everything you could ask for...kayaks, canoes, Muskoka chairs, fresh towels, board games, campfire area and more! The cottage itself is beautiful - completly renovated and impressively decorated while still maintaining a cottage feel. We were very impressed with our stay and the attentiveness of the owner.
