« came for another wonderful trip to Orkney. Accommodation was good with plenty of room. Felt it could benefit from a 2nd toilet/bathroom. the rooms were very spacious. more wardrobe /hanging space would be good in twin rooms. The dishwasher and washing machine were both very clean as were the bedding, which was on comfortable beds. We were very pleased with this choice and would be happy to stay here again. « Für uns wichtig ist die voll ausgestattete Küche inkl Messbecher und Waage. Genügend Geschirr und Gläser. Einzig eine neue Bratpfanne ist längst überfällig. Ausreichend Frottétücher, Decken und Kissen. Heizung funktioniert sehr gut. Eine Gummilippe haben wir für die Dusche hinterlassen, da sehr viel Wasser nicht abläuft und es schlecht austrocknet. Wir würden wieder kommen. »

« Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. We settled down by the logburner to watch the sea through the huge windows....

« The island and cottage were exactly what we needed. There was peace and quiet, which allowed us to slow down and breathe. The local residents we met were friendly and welcoming. The island needs a little investment but we really hope mass tourism doesn't ruin its tranquility. »

« Property was perfectly appointed with everything you would need. Bathrooms are spacious and nice big towels! Ocean view and great walks. We did two day trips and spent one day locally which worked out very well. I would definitely recommend this rental! »

« Everything was as advertised and was terrific. The location is stunning. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The appliances did their jobs and the fireplace, bedding, and every other detail were all just right. Our only complaint is that we were not informed of what was clearly a scheduled power outage on our last morning which was inconvenient, to say the least. »
