« We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. « We had a wonderful week in this lovely property. The view is just incredible and calming. The house is well equipped and I even managed to get some work done, at the desk facing the ocean. It’s definitely worth taking walks and enjoying the different points of view. We will come back. »

« Logement plus proche du gite que de l'appartement de ce que le prix et les photos laissent présager. Equipement minimaliste (pas d'évier dans le coin cuisine, il faut utiliser le lavabo dans la salle de bain) le soir, douche froide très désagréable après 3 minutes d'eau chaude, couvertures vieilles et ne semblant pas très nettes. Ces désagréments, certains pourront les occulter en appréciant plus la beauté des paysages et la gentillesse de l'hôte. »

« Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location. »

« The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. Also was not expecting to have to take the trash to the road, strip beds, start laundry or make sure everything was wiped down. What was my cleaning fee for? « We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out.
